Jacques Minniefield Co- Founder/ Lead Trainer and Yoga Instructor, RYT, CPT, CNC, Certified Kids Yoga Instructor
Jacques was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago and moved to the United States in 2001, where he faced the challenges of adapting to a new life and culture. Through every season, movement and fitness remained his foundation. He committed himself to personal growth, using yoga, resistance training, and mindful movement to become his most authentic self, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
With over a decade of experience, Jacques became a certified yoga instructor in 2017 and a personal trainer in 2021. He has led classes throughout the Pittsburgh community and found his true calling working with children teaching with compassion, encouragement, and purpose.
Jacques is now living his dream, serving as a Yoga and Mindfulness teacher for students in grades K–8 at Falk Laboratory School in Oakland, Pennsylvania. Each day, he pours into the next generation, helping young people develop not only physical strength, but also inner peace, resilience, and self-awareness.
He is also a devoted family man who treasures time at home with his wife, Leigh, and their four boys. Jacques loves the Lord and trusts Him fully, striving each day to serve, uplift, and inspire through movement and faith.
Who we are
Leigh Garbo-Minniefield Co-Founder / Lead Trainer and Yoga Instructor, RYT, CPT, CNC, Certified Kids Yoga Instructor
Leigh was born and raised in Pittsburgh, where she was lovingly raised by her incredible mother, whose strength and sacrifice shaped Leigh’s foundation. As a teenager, Leigh struggled deeply with insecurity, people-pleasing, toxic relationships, and an unhealthy relationship with herself and food. At different points in her journey, her weight fluctuated drastically, and after losing her cycle due to her eating disorder, she was told she might never be able to have children.
Through years of prayer, Leigh believes God gently led her to healing through movement. Yoga and Polynesian dance became sacred pathways for restoration and helping her rebuild a healthy relationship with her body, her identity, and her worth. Today, Leigh has over 16 years of freedom and a healthy relationship with food, along with a renewed sense of confidence, peace, and purpose.
Leigh is now blessed with a beautiful marriage and, by God’s grace, four healthy boys, living proof that hope is never lost. She believes it is her calling to serve others through mindful, healthy movement, helping them overcome their own struggles and rediscover their strength. Leigh teaches from a place of compassion, faith, and lived experience, with a heart devoted to helping others heal, grow, and always keep hope.
